Scandal Season 5: Quinn In A Dilemma, Olivia And Fitz To See Happy Days, More Details

Scandal Season 5 will be back on soon enough and the upcoming season will pick up from it left of in the previous season. Latin Post has reported that according to Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the show, the fourth season will immediately take off where the finale had ended in Scandal Season 4.

At the Television Critics Association’s annual press tour, Rhimes said that the world of every character has abruptly changed in the previous episode, apart from that of Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn).

Scandal Season 5 will show Pope and President Grant finally coming together. The two had been romantically attracted to each other for a very long time now, but they had been doing there best to stay apart because they were with their respective partners.

The finale saw the two sharing a not so secret kiss in the balcony of the White House. President Grant has already asked his wife, Mellie (Bellamy Young) to leave the White House since she was found to have a relationship with the Vice President.

With Mellie out, President Grant is free to pursue Olivia. Olivia also has been given the permission to go ahead and be with the man she truly loves, by Jake Ballard (Scott Foley). With the two getting permission to be with the one they truly feel for, Scandal Season 5 will deal with the blossoming of this relationship.

Jake Ballard was shot in the previous season and there were rumors that he might not be returning for Season 5. Kerry Washington doesn’t share a good relationship with him and her close friendship with the creator indicated that Foley might be shown the boot.

She will come back stronger and try to get back her rightful position as the First Lady.Rhimes did not say anything about what is exactly going to happen when it comes to Mellie and President Grant, but she did say that Fitzgerald will seriously consider leaving Mellie for good.

Vine Report has come out with the news that Katie Lowes, who plays the role of Quinn, is going to face a rather difficult set to emotions when it comes to Huck (Guillermo Diaz). She talked how hard it will be for her to decide if she kills the man who is her best friend, lover and mentor, but doesn’t stop even once to try and make things tough for her at every opportunity.

Quinn and Huck worked together and in Season 4 of Scandal there is a point where Quinn pulls the trigger and almost kills Huck. There were a lot of speculation that Huck will not be back for Scandal Season 5, but Guillermo Diaz shared a photo silencing speculations that he is going to die.

Lowes has also added a very interesting thing about Scandal Season 5. She says that the actors are surprised every day on the set because they find out what’s in store. She has promised fans that Scandal Season 5 will be a mind-blowing experience for the viewers and they will not be disappointed.

Lowes’ comment has got the fans excited about Scandal Season 5. They are now earnestly waiting for the series to hit the screen on September. The creators of Scandal have never disappointed the fans and by the looks of it they will not do it this season as well.
