Samsung Galaxy C7 Details Revealed After Being Noticed At a Benchmark Site, Device Is Expected To Remain Exclusive to China!

Samsung could be introducing a new model soon since reports say that an upcoming model has been spotted in a benchmarking site. Sammobile reports that the South Korean Tech giant will reveal its Galaxy C-series range of devices with the highly anticipated Galaxy C7. Right now, there are no official details available but according to GSMArena, it has already been noted on AnTuTu and the latest one on GFXBench.

The listing further reports that Samsung Galaxy C7 is said to come with a 5.5inch capacitive touch screen display. The screen is Super AMOLED and full-HD at 1920×1080 pixels. Zauba, the Indian import site said that it will be a 5.7inch display and this is a major contradiction from the other listings. However, none of the reports have been confirmed yet and it is recommended that readers take it with a pinch of salt.

According to Softpedia, under the hood, the Galaxy C7 is packed with a 64-bit 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It comes with an Adreno 506 graphics processing unit, paired with 4GB of RAM.

The device has an internal storage capacity of 32GB but only 25GB remains allotted for users. There is no information on whether this device will come with external microSD card slot as well.

The C7 will come pre-installed with Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system and it will feature a 16 megapixel camera with LED flash located on the back. According to International Business Times, the front will feature an impressive 8megapixel camera, equipped with full-HD video recording ability.

It is perfect for those who wish to take selfies and do video calls. According to further speculations, this device will not be any mid-range device as it comes with NFC and many other sensors. A GSMArena report clearly declared that Samsung is clearly working on a new C series range of smartphones and Galaxy C5 has already been the subject of many leaks and rumors till now. The C7 as mentioned before, was spotted on AnTuTu and according to the latest figures on GFXBench, the device has a 5.5inch display.

It also runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and features a full-HD touchscreen with 5 finger gesture input. The device has a 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor with SoC Qualcomm technology (Cortex A53-ARMv8).

The GPU is a Qualcomm Adreno 506 unit and it comes with OpenGL ES 3.1 support, powered by the 506. The benchmark listing indicates that it has 3.5GB of usable RAM along with a usable internal storage capacity of 25GB.

The device has a 15 megapixel rear camera (4608×3456 pixels) and records Full-HD 1080p videos. The camera comes with features like autofocus, flash, face detection, touch focus and HDR photo. It is packed with a decent 7 megapixels front camera at 3264×2448 pixels and full HD video recording capability.

The device has all the other additional sensors and features like accelerometer, Bluetooth, compass, Global Positioning System, lightsensor, gyroscope, NFC, pedometer, proximity sensor and Wi-Fi. GSMArena further reported that there is a contradiction regarding the display since the Indian Import Site Zauba has mentioned a 5.7inch screen.

Rumors indicate that the Galaxy C series will come with metallic bodies and it is expected to launch sometime, next month. At the same time, the device is said to remain exclusive to China. In terms of pricing, Zauba lists the device at INR 13,605, which is around $205 for the Galaxy C7.
