Ryan Murphy Tribute Video For Victims Of Orlando Tragedy, 49 Artists Come Together To Create Awareness, Demand For Stricter Firearm Restriction

HRC President Chad Griffin said that he is grateful to Ryan Murphy, Ned Martel and the 49 artists who came together to create this moving and powerful tribute to the Orlando tragedy. The tribute video was shot in three days at FOX Studios Los Angeles. While talking about the incident, Murphy said that the hatred that claimed the lives of 49 people had been flourishing in the country for a long time.

According to HRC.org, Ryan Murphy stated that no individual is born hating another, and the Americans have an obligation to stand up against bigotry and prejudice, which can lead to violence.

He said that the tribute video was his way to spread awareness and build a safer country. Artists like Lady Gaga, Sofia Vergara, Colton Haynes, Chris Pine and others have featured in the tribute video.

While Ryan Murphy has created his tribute video with 49 artists, Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda have tried to do something for the victims and their families as well. The two have collaborated to create the Orlando charity single Love Make the World Go Round. The song is available on iTunes for download and the proceeds from it will go to the Somos Orlando Fund that helps the victims and their families.
