Robert Downey Jr.: Makes it to The Forbes List Again, Sherlock Holmes’ Script being worked Upon, Toasts at Jennifer-Justin Wedding!

Robert Downey Jr. has been named the World’s Highest-Paid Actor third time in a row. He sure knows how to live up to his character of Tony Stark. Forbes recently released their list and there was no surprise when Robert Downey Jr. ended up being on the top yet again.

He tops the chart with his $80 million, which is $30 million more than the top five where we find Jackie Chan, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Adam Sandler. Also present in the chart is Chris Hemsworth, who is in the Avengers with Robert Downey Jr. Chris Evans aka Captain America, also made it to the list at number 32.

Forbes has changed the way they draw up their list this year. Previously they would include international stars who only act in US film, but this year they have included actors who have only international releases as well. This has been responsible in getting three international stars in the top 10.

The Forbes list of 2015 has got names from the Bollywood industry. Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have got their names in the top 10 since Forbes has included international actors who are not restricted to American movies.

The Forbes list this year with Robert Downey Jr. leading from the front has 12 new entries. The 34 actors who made it to the list have made a total of $941 million before tax deductions between June 2014 and June 2015.

Fans of Robert Downey Jr. were disappointed with the news that the actor might not be coming back as Iron Man in the stand-alone films again, but they have some good news coming their way.

Sherlock Holmes fans will see Robert Downey Jr. essaying the enigmatic detective in the big screen. Lionel Wigram, the producer has informed IGN that they have started working on the script for the third Sherlock Holmes movie.

There were no plans for the third film with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, but Wigram said that they always wanted to work on a third film that would be bigger and better than the other two films and they have started the script-writing work with that in time and it isn’t an easy task, given the kind of anticipation that the fans will have from the third Sherlock Holmes movie.

Jude Law had told Digital Spy in 2013 November that they have started working on the third film and by the look of it, it doesn’t seem to be the first time that a Sherlock Holmes 3 script is being worked on. Jude Law had said that Warner Bros. should want to pay for it and hopefully this time round, they will like what they get.

Robert Downey Jr. was the one to first confirm that there are talks of starting the work for Sherlock Holmes 3 in 2014. He said that after Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, creating something better isn’t going to be an easy task.

Downey Jr. said that he is very interested in developing Perry Mason as a property. He loves going back to a 1931 novel and bringing out things that every Sherlock Holmes fan is well aware of to create something better and new. It’s a challenge he loves and he is sure that the creators will be able to live up to it.
