The room scale VR from HTC Vive really managed to impress the gamers and there is no-doubting that full games and experiences which are presently available look rather sparse in your library. Valve has been providing all the software for HTC Vive so far but besides that, it hasn’t created much content, aside from The Labs.
Whenever you buy a Vive, it is a free software bundle that comes along with it. From the looks of it, Valve is beavering away somewhere when it comes to the Vive but it seems like, Portal 3 would be a great place to initiate the magic.
Half Life 3
No information, details or confirmation regarding Portal 3’s existence has been provided so far but reports indicate that it did file a trademark with the Trademarks and Design Registration Office of the European Union (OHIM) in 2013.
In the end, we have been waiting for a long time for Half Life 3 and this particular rumored title has reached mythical heights. However, both Portal 3 and Half Life 3 could launch at the same time. This would result in double the excitement for gamers.
In other news, there are rumors suggesting that a film could be released based on the game. JJ Abrams said, “Not yet, but they’re in development,” he told IGN. “And we’ve got writers, and we’re working on both those stories.”
