New Trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Offers a Fresh Look at the Expansion Pass, Patch 1.12 Will Not Include Any New Features, And More

In case you are a fan of open world games and haven’t played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt yet, it is time that you gave it a shot. 6 million units of the game have been sold so far and quests featuring Geralt has won over more than its fair share of fans worldwide.

With early Game of the Year Awards and critical praise, this game was poised for excellence right from the beginning. A new trailer has been released in order to increase the hype for the two other upcoming adventures of Geralt, including Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone. It is dedicated to people who are interested in the Expansion Pass.

The Hearts of Stone expansion Pack was released recently and it came with 10 hours of gameplay, with Geralt meeting the Man of Glass and completing a group of missions for him. Shani, a very popular Witcher character, returned with this adventure and it was a major hit.

Meanwhile, Blood and Wine will be released next year and it promises 20 hours of fresh gameplay along with a new zone for you to explore. The latest features like New Game Plus will be coming in the future while CD Projekt RED keeps working on updates to fix issues and several bugs.

The creator of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt RED, recently confirmed that it is going to receive another patch, to be released next month. The game is now available worldwide in all consoles like Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The patch was officially confirmed recently. A lot of new details regarding it were learnt about in the past few days.

Community Manager of CD Projekt RED, Marcin Momot, confirmed on his Twitter profile that the 1.12 patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will come with a lot of fixes and won’t include any new features. A lot of people were waiting for various new features that were promised earlier and the fact is quite disappointing in nature.

It was earlier declared that the Gwent Card Collector would be introduced in the previous update but that didn’t happen. Meanwhile, new features and enhancements to the game are being added with the help of mods. Even then, keep in mind that the next patch is all about fixes.

A new trailer was released earlier this month, which showcased The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Super Turbo Lightning Mod. It will reveal all the improvements to be included in the yet to be launched 2.0 release of the mod. The Blood and Wine expansion will be released next year and it will feature more content.

Not much has been known about the expansion so far but we already know that it will feature a new area called Toussaint. We read about several new characters in the books and they will be featured in the next expansion. The Blood and Wine DLC will be released next year for all platforms on all the regions.
