Mr. Robot: Promos of the Next Episode Revealed, Music by Mac Quayle, and Much More!

The identity of Christian Slater’s mysterious character in Mr. Robot was revealed in the previous episode of the show. Salter’s character now wants Elliot to continue focusing on Evil Corp in episode 9

After discovering that Slater is actually his father, Elliot, played by Rami Malek, will confront him about not revealing this to him earlier, as the promo video of the next episode shows Elliot coming to terms with the fact that the leader of the hacker group, FSociety, is his father.

The two characters had a chat about Elliot’s father previously and Slater’s character had insisted on hearing about Elliot’s father, before pushing him off the pier. Slater’s character, basically, is more focused on Evil Corp and their plan. He asks Elliot to stick to the plan and ensure that the hacking attempt on the company goes smoothly.

The Chinese Hacker White Rose had revealed the flaws in FSociety’s plan and had set a deadline for the hackers to remove a honeypot from an Evil Corp server. Well, Elliot is very much concerned about being followed, as Darlene, played by Carly Chaikin had warned him in the previous episode of Mr. Robot and on the other hand Darlene and Angela Moss, portrayed by Portia Doubleday will attempt to talk to Elliot, but apparently he doesn’t want to talk to either of them.

Commenting on the video, some of the fans had expected the show to turn out like the movie Fight Club and were expecting Slater’s character to be a hallucination of Elliot. Well, the fans expressed their excitement about wanting to see how the first season of the show ends, with only two episodes left.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Malek had previously said that he didn’t want people to think that the whole story is just Elliot’s imagination. The actor also said that the viewers will come soon to find out what Elliot’s reality is and however, he conceded that the question about Elliot’s imagination will keep coming up even after the end of the first season.

For the past several weeks, TV critics and creators gathered in Beverly Hills for the annual Television Critics Association press tour, where the networks previewed the upcoming season and everyone talked a lot about the state of the medium.

One of the big topics of conversation was whether the recent boom in original programming has led to an unmanageable glut. Sam Esmail’s Mr. Robot, the seventh episode in the drama’s debut season featured very little onscreen hacking.

Backed by Antara Nayar, a lawyer who went up against E Corp years before, Angela takes a significant risk in the most recent Mr. Robot episode when she strikes a deal with Terry Colby, the recently disgraced former chief technology officer of E Corp and also she promises to testify that she broke the chain of custody when All Safe handled the hack of the corporate conglomerate if he turns his back on E Corp and admits to the company’s wrong doing in the toxic waste dump that resulted in the deaths of Angela’s mother and Elliot’s father.

The episode is pivotal in Angela’s transition from her too nice persona to being someone who goes after what she wants and brings Elliot and Angela’s character progression throughout the season.
