Michael Chernus to Become the Tinkerer in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Will Join Hands with Vulture, Robert Downey Jr. To Appear as Mentor, Zendaya’s Role Disclosed

The latest update from the world of Spider-Man: Homecoming states that Michael Chernus is going to be one of the villains in the film.

Deadline reported that Michael Chernus is going to play the role of Phineas Mason aka The Tinkerer in the upcoming Spider-Man film. Chernus has been a part of Aloha, The Bourne Legacy, and Orange is the New Black and Captain Phillips.

The appearance by the Spider-Man: Homecoming panelist at San Diego saw the team being secretive about the characters of Tony Revolori, Jacob Batalon, Zendaya and Laura Harrier.

However, Watts has come out to reveal their characters since then. He said that Revolori is going to play the role of Flash, Batalon is going to be Ned, Zendaya is going to be Michelle, and Harrier is going to play the role of Liz.

EW reported that Revolori might be playing the role of the bully, Flash, who torments Peter Parker in his high-school, but whenever a particular scene would be shot and the actor would talk amongst themselves, he would always head to Tom Holland to tell him how cool he is.
