The One M9 is a sober refresh of the HTC One M8. When you look at the HTC One M9 and hold it for the first time, you see that there is no cheap similarity with the devices rolled by HTC’s Cupertino and Korean rivals. Instead, the entire body is made up of brushed aluminum. This makes the device look extremely classy and significantly robust.
Next to the slim 6.8mm Samsung Galaxy S6, the HTC One M9 may appear chunky with its 9.6mm thickness. However, this measurement is only for the center of the M9’s rear portion. In reality, it doesn’t appear chunky at all. The power button has also been moved from the top of the device to the side, which makes it more practical to reach for everyday users.
The One M9 coloring is also quite different from its predecessors. It comes with a two tone finish, using a copper-inflected gold for its sides and silver for the back and front panels. A dark metallic gray version is also available at the same time.
The HTC One M9 is still blessed by a microSD storage card slot unlike flagship devices from Samsung which completely lack its presence.
