He is going to play the role of the Joker in Suicide Squad and there is a lot of anticipation about the role.
Oscar winning actor that he is, Jared Leto doesn’t need any award to validate the point that he is a brilliant actor. He has already created a buzz with the little that fans have seen of his character in the trailers and the stills from the upcoming movie.
The role of the Joker is known to be a challenging one since it involves the mind to a large extent. Leto went through a lot to get into the skin of the character and he wouldn’t come out of it in between shots since it would make it difficult for him to get back into the Joker mode. He would, therefore, continue to behave like Joker.
David Ayer, said that the cast and crew members would be scared of Jared Leto and his antics. He had come for the first script reading session with a dead pig and had gifted Margot Robbie with a live rat. These antics of his scared his fellow cast members, while at the same time making them aware of his dedication towards the role.
