Users of Apple iOS have been waiting eagerly waiting for a proper jailbreaking tool for the Apple iOS for quite some time now. However, renowned jailbreaking teams of Pangu and TaiG are yet to successfully jailbreak the latest versions of iOS.
The iOS 9.3 was released sometime back and since its release, Apple has come up with two minor updates for the said OS in the form of iOS 9.3.1 and iOS 9.3.2. Pangu or TaiG is yet to jailbreak any version of the iOS 9.3 and this has sparked off speculations that it might be impossible to jailbreak the latest version of the iOS.
On a previous instance an Italian hacker by the name of Luca Todesco stated that the fifth beta of iOS 9.3 contained some security loopholes using which he was able to jailbreak it. He even made a video showing his phone which was running on iOS 9.3 had Cydia installed on it.
Now Cydia cannot be installed on an iOS device unless the iOS is jailbroken and thus Todesco’s video proved that he was indeed able to jailbreak the said iOS. That being said, the hacker abstained from releasing the jailbreaking tool to the public.
It is a known fact that iOS 9.3 initially contained many issues and loopholes. However, as soon as the issues started coming to the forefront, Apple immediately started working on resolving them and released the iOS 9.3.1 which came sans the issues of the iOS 9.3.
This threw back the hackers to square one and they were forced to begin working on jailbreaking iOS 9.3.1 instead of iOS 9.3. As Apple had already fixed most of the security loopholes of the iOS 9.3 in the iOS9.3.1, it became even harder for the hackers to jailbreak it.
Another minor update, the iOS 9.3.2 was also rolled out by Apple and the Cupertino-based company has already released four betas for the said iOS. Apparently, the company is desperately trying to prevent the hackers from jailbreaking iOS 9.3 by rolling out one update after another.
Since Apple is constantly releasing betas for the iOS 9.3.2, fans of jailbroken iOS are beginning to wonder whether it is actually jail-breakable or not. Luca Todesco, who had earlier claimed that he had jailbroken iOS 9.3 is also eerily quiet on the matter.
All being said, some rumors are doing rounds on the internet that the hacking teams are close to jailbreaking iOS 9.3 and iOS 9.3.1. if the rumors are to be believed, a jailbreaking tool for either iOS 9.3 or iOS 9.3.1 might see the light of the day before Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference which is scheduled to kick off on June 13.
Users of Apple iOS who have not updated their devices to iOS 9.3.2 will be able to take advantage of this tool if it is indeed released.
Rumors also have it that the hacking teams are waiting for the right moment to drop the jailbreaking tool. As can be seen, Apple is constantly releasing updates for the base iOS 9.3.
It looks like the hackers are waiting for the Cupertino-based company to roll out the final version of the said iOS before working on creating a jailbreak for it.
The last released functional jailbreaking tool for an iOS was the one for iOS 9.1. it was Pangu who managed to successfully jailbreak that version of the iOS. So if any user who has an Apple device that still runs on that version of iOS will be able to jailbreak it using the tool that was released by Pangu.
