There was a golden age of WWE games which included titles like WWE Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain and WWF No Mercy but now the games aren’t what they used to be. The latest WWE games lost their shine since each WWE game seems like a repetition of the last.
Right now, the graphics are phenomenal and the roster is generally stacked but there is a lack of evolution and innovation in line. As a result, this has led to a dip in the quality of games during the recent years. The inclusion of General Manager Mode resulted in WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 truly worth the purchase.
This mode made its debut in the 2006 title and it positioned the player as an on-authority figure along with the various storyline responsibilities that came along with it. The General Manager mode provided the players with huge bouts of enjoyment with a well-packed roster to work with.
The GM Mode had a quite realistic feel and shortly after that, the “WWE Universe Mode” wasn’t really attractive. The ardent WWE fans and gamers have been long-waiting for the General Manager Mode to return and with the release of WWE 2K16 right around the corner, its high time 2K brought it back.
The upcoming game is being greatly anticipated by millions of gamers all over the world and they are dying to be a part of this game. The company has been teasing a lot of new features and facts about the upcoming game and they are tantalizing as ever. The WWE games always had an element of surprise in them along with their pre-order bonuses.
These bonus items make the game more special and further increase the excitement for WWE fans and gamers alike. For this year, 2K recently revealed that fans who pre-order WWE 2K16 will receive Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Terminator’ 1800 model as a bonus item!
