HTC has experimented a lot with the camera in their devices and they decided to make some changes in the HTC One M9. The camera has been significantly improved, but it doesn’t have the presence of Optical Image Stabilization. There is a 20MP sensor located at the back, which comes with dual-tone LED flash and autofocus.
Meanwhile, there is a 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera located at the front which should be good enough for your selfies and video chatting sessions. Compared to that, the Nexus 5 has a lackluster 12.3-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
The HTC One M9 makes use of a 2840mAh battery, compared to the 2700mAh non-removable battery in the Nexus 5X. There is no wireless charging option present in either of the devices, but both of them support Quick Charge 2.0.
Meanwhile, LG Nexus 5X has a fingerprint sensor which is lacking in the HTC One M9 and with the presence of Marshmallow OS, Android Pay purchases can be made easier with the use of the fingerprint sensor. However, the One M9 has BoomSound, IR Blaster and FM Stereo Radio.
