Till now, the only games to be T rated in the Halo franchise were Halo Wars and the top down shooter Halo: Spartan Assault along with its sequel Halo: Spartan Strike. In the meantime, ESRB published its description for the rating.
According to them, ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ features a supersoldier named Locke searching for a missing character. Players can use a variety of weapons like pistols, grenade launchers, submachine guns and various other types of futuristic weapons in order to kill humans and aliens alike.
The battles have the presence of realistic gunfire, occasional blood-splatter effects along with massive explosions. The in-game characters will also be able to kill characters by snapping their necks through ‘assassinations’ and enemies can be stabbed by bladed weapons as well.
Halo 5 Guardians, further had a beta update which leaked most of the game’s original soundtrack along with some multiplayer menu screenshots which include Warzone mode as well. Meanwhile, Guardians will release on 27th October for the Xbox One.
