Half Life 3 Rumors, Speculations, Predictions and Why Valve Should Develop It, More Details Here

The Machines will launch with the latest Steam OS and HTC Vive headset at the end of 2015. People are predicting that it would make a lot of sense for Valve to showcase these technologies with one of their upcoming titles. Predictions have included Left 4 Dead 3 on the cards as fans of the long-running zombie apocalypse franchise are quite excited about a third installment. Meanwhile in June 2012, a lot of concept art assumed to be from Half Life 2: Episode 3 was released into the internet.

Valve didn’t comment on the validity of these conceptual art forms or whether they were legitimate at all. However, they may actually end up being a part of Half Life 3. Meanwhile, Counter-Strike co-creator, Minh Lee admitted last year that he witnessed some concept art himself. He thought that it was public knowledge that they were aware about something being worked on. He further admitted that he has witnessed something that “looked kinda like in the Half-Life universe”.

The harsh truth is that Valve has probably shifted permanently from the whole single-player scene and is focusing more on the designing of multiplayer franchises. The company has shifted its focus on bigger social experiences like that of Dota 2.

In the end, Half Life 3 will create a global sensation once it’s launched on a global scale. Till then, nothing can happen without Valve confirming the development of this upcoming installment.
