According to Iceland Review, the big franchise is setting up a huge surprise in Akranes, Iceland. A Jalopnik update was sourced by the report, which talked about the aforementioned explosion.

Akranes Mayor Regína Ásvaldsdóttir confirmed with Iceland Review that the big bosses behind this franchise have already informed them about the scenes which are to be shot in their town. The reports indicate that most of it will be revolving around the harbor as well as the cement fields.

According to the officials, there were plans about a huge flare up and it further added that citizens could not wait to witness it. Besides Iceland, the filmmakers also have their eyes set on Cuba.

It will feature exotic locales which will add a great setting to the franchise that has shown Dubai and Rio in its past installments. The movie will also cater to the avid and excited Hispanic audience who love the franchise.
