There is a lot of anticipation regarding Fast and Furious 8 and at the same time, there is a lot of excitement and suspense involving late Paul Walker’s character, Brian O’Connor.
Everybody was thrown off by his death, including all the people involved in the Fast and Furious franchise. Meanwhile, Walker’s brother Cody was called on the set in order to act as his brother for the last few remaining scenes.
Meanwhile, Cody is slated to return for Fast and Furious 8 as well. Paul Walker’s character did not necessarily die in the seventh part of this franchise. However, he did bid farewell to the team which provided O’Connor with a proper exit after all these years with the franchise. Ron Meyer, the NBC Universal Vice-Chairman shared that the franchise is not closing its doors on O’Connor.
However, it seems like the character is yet to be done with the entire Fast and Furious family. Meyer further confirmed the return of Cody Walker and franchise creators further claimed that the next entry will take on a different direction and provide a new representation of Walker along with his character.
Meanwhile, additional rumors have speculated that the franchise’s villain will be played by none other than Charlize Theron. She is currently attached to Sony’s The Gray Man. However, the role was originally intended for Brad Pitt. Therefore, The Gray Man is undergoing a rewrite in order to switch the main character from male to female.
The next Fast and Furious sequel will have previous cast members which include Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, and Dwayne Johnson. The franchise could also be getting a new member on the team with the possibility of Charlize Theron joining the cast.
‘Fast and Furious 8’ is looming in the horizon. With the rising notions, you can be sure that Paul Walker’s presence on the scenes can easily be felt. The latest rumors have again suggested that Cody Walker will be returning to the franchise as Brian O’ Connor.
Another thing which should be noted for Fast and Furious 8 is the way in which the plot in the upcoming sequel will be specifically created and formed. Fans and followers have their own thoughts on that matter and the creators have already declared that the upcoming film will have a different representation of their beloved character, Paul Walker.
Ron Meyer told MSN that the curtains are not closing on Brian O’Connor since he is not ready to cut the cords with this peers and friends. Meanwhile, speculations about Charlize Theron as the villain are skyrocketing.
This is actually unconfirmed at the moment. However, Theron has already worked with filmmaker F. Gary Gray in the past when he directed her former film, ‘The Italian Job’ in 2003. Fast and Furious 8 will be released in theaters on 14th April, 2007.
Meyer has announced, “Paul won’t be in it, but he’ll be represented in some form or another, but whether his image is in it, I can’t tell you yet, but he won’t be in the film as a performer, as an actor, the way we did it last time.”
According to Business Standard, Theron is currently under discussion to play the villain who will ultimately face off against Diesel’s character, in the upcoming movie Fast and Furious 8.
In other news, Fast and Furious 8 have been developing pretty steadily so there’s a lot of stuff you need to know. First of all, you already know that Charlize Theron will be the prime villain in this film.
