Fans Speculate About The Plot Of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Working On An Exciting Project, Game Not Going To Be Announced At The Gamescom 2016

Red Dead Redemption became the game that had changed the way the world looked at console games. The game was released back in 2010 and was available only on consoles. It’s time for the next round of Red Dead Redemption to be played out.

PC Games N reported that the upcoming game from the Red Dead franchise should technically be called the Red Dead 3 since the previous games from the franchise have been Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption.

However, given the popularity of Red Dead Redemption, the developers have decided to go for Red Dead Redemption 2. There are rumors that the game might not be called Red Dead Redemption 2 once it is finally released. There are chances of it being called Red Dead Rebellion, but most fans are sticking to Red Dead Redemption 2 for the time being.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 had been in the making since 2014. There were rumors that Rockstar might come out with the much-anticipated game at any moment.

Two years down the line things are still not clear, and now the deadline is expected to be 2017. This date has been set by fans who have realized that Red Dead Revolver had released in 2004 and was followed by the Red Dead Redemption in 2010.

This made 2016 the likely year of release, but since that hasn’t happened the fans are going to stick with 2017, allowing Rockstar an additional year to release Red Dead Redemption 2. While the players have been speculating on the release date of Red Dead Redemption 2, there hasn’t been much talk about Rockstar having started work on the game.

According to Universal Herald, Rockstar seems to have started work on Red Dead Redemption 2 since there is a user on LinkedIn who lists Red Dead Redemption 2 as a title he has worked on. The profile belongs to a senior 3D design artist at Rockstar, and since he clearly states Red Dead Redemption 2 under his professional experience, it is safe to say that the game is under development.

Take-Two, which is the parent company of Rockstar, has seen the CEO Strauss Zelnick talk about an exciting new project that Rockstar is working on and which will be disclosed to the public soon enough. He added that developers are working on the next version of a popular IP since 2010.

Since 2010 was the year that Red Dead Redemption had released, the fans are hoping that Zelnick is referring to the much-anticipated game when he refers to a new project that the developers are immersed in.

With no official word from Rockstar on Red Dead Redemption 2, the fans are not going to sit down. They have a lot of rumors circulating on the internet to keep themselves busy with, and they are going to go ahead and believe whatever looks convincing enough until proven otherwise.

Tech Radar reported that there seems to be an image of a leaked map from Rockstar HQ that has been doing the rounds on the internet. This map is believed to be a part of Red Dead Redemption 2 and shows that the game has expanded to the east since the last game. The bottom portion of the map includes the Blackwater settlement, which was involved in the last game, and since then the area covered has massively grown.
