Fallout 4: Opens in A Huge Way, DLC Headed Towards Fans Soon, Cool Mods Out Already, Secret Weapon Uncovered, And More

Bethesda Studios launched Fallout 4 in the previous week and it has had one of the biggest openings compared to other games in recent times.

Just in the recent past, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 raked in a whopping $550 million in its three-day launch period. This record was completely destroyed by Fallout 4, when the fourth installment in the series of post-apocalyptic games by Bethesda Studios made more than $750 million within just 24 hours of its release.

Fallout 4 was one of the most anticipated games of the year and it could be safely stated that it has been able to live upto that anticipation in a big way. The game is going to get even better and bigger with the DLCs that will be released by the developers gradually. The first DLC for the game is headed towards fans soon.

Previously it was announced by the developers of the game that the first DLC for the game would make its appearance early in 2016. A Season Pass was also offered to the fans by the developers which came with a moderate price tag of $30 and this Season Pass would allow fans to get their hands on all the DLCs that the company releases for Fallout 4.

Regular free updates which will work towards fixing bugs and improving gameplay and adding certain new features to the game will also be released by Bethesda Studios.

The previous Fallout game in the Fallout series by Bethesda, the Fallout 3 came with a total of five paid DLCs which were released over a period of 8 months.

A Game of the Year edition of the game was also released by the developers after a year from the initial launch of the game. This version of the game came packed with all the expansion packs released for the game till date along with the original game.

The Fallout 4 game director Todd Howard recently said in an interview with Red Carpet report that the DLCs for the game will be created based on feedbacks from fans. He also stated that a number of expansion packs will be released for the game.

He further added that the developers will keep a close and interactive touch with the fans and these interactions would help them understand what they want in the game. They will shape the DLCs keeping in mind the feedbacks from the fans and would try to incorporate specific aspects into the game as per their likings.

Fallout 4 was released last week and within this short period some pretty awesome mods created by fans using the game’s mod kit have made their appearances.

Here’s a quick look at some of the weird and quirky yet fun mods recently created by fans.

The White Dogmeat mod allows players to change the look of Dogmeat, the canine companion in the game. Some players may wish to change the appearance of the adorable companion in the game and using this mod, players will be able to make their Dogmeat look similar to a Game of Thrones Direwolf which is pretty cool.

The Craftable Ammunition mod can be used by players to craft ammunition for the different kinds of weapons in the game using various kinds of junks available in the wasteland. This mod is pretty useful given the fact that Craftable Ammunition feature is missing from the original game.

Two other useful mods that made their appearances recently are the Easy Lockpicking and the Easy Hacking mods. These mods are particularly useful for players with a dislike for picking locks and hacking.

The hacking mod will work in way which will show players the correct answer required to hack on any terminal.
