Director Bryan Singer Reports X-Men Apocalypse Will Be the Longest Movie in the Franchise, He Tears Up During Emotional Scene Played By Fassbender!

Oscar Isaac will be the actor playing Apocalypse and he seems quite enthusiastic about his character. According to him, he is quite excited to explore all of these worlds and the process incorporates a mythical theme since he is basically playing God. He is looking at it more like a challenge.

During an interview with IndieWire, the actor declared that filming for X-Men: Apocalypse was great since it features an embodiment of such big ideas. Moreover, they are not working on the realm of naturalism.

Besides Mystique, Magneto and Quicksilver, other characters who will return to X-Men are Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, and Sophie Turner as Jean Grey.

Meanwhile, on an interesting turn of events, it is being reported that Director Bryan Singer shed tears after an emotional scene was enacted by Michael Fassbender, during the shooting of X-Men Apocalypse.

Singer revealed that it was a heartbreaking scene and not like a typical comic-book scene at all. After Fassbender did it, he went up to him, hugged and asked him to do it again.
