Dancing With the Stars: Derek Hough Is Back, Predictions Pick Nastia As Top Contender, And More Information

Dancing With the Stars’ Derek Hough had missed the last Monday’s show because he was seriously injured while training, but it looked like he was feeling much better when he was spotted outside the Dancing With the Stars studio.

The dancer and choreographer was spotted fooling around with a hovertrax in the parking lot. He was showing his daredevil side riding it all over the parking lot in Los Angeles. Derek was in casual that might indicate that he was practising and will be coming back in the dance next week.

Dressed in white comfy trousers and a light blue denim shirt worn with a white t-shirt inside, Derek looked good. He had his blonde hair covered in a black baseball cap that was worn backwards. He seemed a little hesitant as he started with the hovertrax. It is similar to Segway, but without a handle. Derek placed his high-topped black boots on the platform of the high priced toy a little wary, but soon became comfortable with it.

Derek had badly injured his leg ion 22nd April. He was spotted with a crutch after breaking a toe and had to sit out of the competition last week with his partner Nastia Liukin. The two have been the top contenders for this season of Dancing With the Stars.

Nastia performed with Sasha Farber since her partner Derek Hough was out last week and still scored a perfect score, keeping up their run for the winning spot this season. It looks like Derek Hough is set on winning Dancing With the Stars for the sixth time.

Derek’s injury forced to be absent from Dancing With the Stars as well from his live show at the New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. He has previously been able to work his way round an injury, but this time his injury forced him to sit out and it was an alien territory for him.
