Supercell announced the actual release of updates on October 24, during ClashCon. The update was pushed back from mid-November to early-December and this clearly indicates that Supercell is working pretty hard on it.
According to a report in Master Herald, Supercell has promised to bring a new gameplay experience, with the coming updates.
Right now, Supercell is listening to feedback from players, being channeled through the official gaming forum and are looking at interesting inputs from the gaming community. The next update will not only provide a major leap in gameplay but will further improve the quality of life for Clashers, in and out of the game.
In the meantime, when you are new to the game or an intermediate level player, you should know all the ways in which you can keep enjoying the game. For instance, never try to hoard your resources.
Keep in mind that this attracts the higher-level and much-experienced players who could decimate your base and steal all your stored loot in a jiffy. Keep upgrading your buildings and defenses and make sure that your loot is utilized instead of being stolen.
