Being a spin-off of a popular television series is not an easy task, but Better Call Saul has proved the audience that it has made a mark on its own. Better Call Saul has been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the 67th Emmy Awards.
After making a mark on the viewers and the critics alike, it’s no difficult task to realise why there’s so much of interest about the Season 2 of Better Call Saul. The second season is going to premiere early in the coming year on AMC.
The lead in Better Call Saul is played by Bob Odenkirk, who returns on the series to play the same character that he made popular in Breaking Bad – Saul Goodman. Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad was a notorious lawyer, but in Better Call Saul he plays the role a small time lawyer, called James Morgan McGgill.

Better Call Saul Season 2 is going to take the viewers on the journey that takes place for the transformation into Saul Goodman from James Morgan.Better Call Saul Season 2 is going to focus on the transition from the good to the evil character and the main focus of the upcoming season is going to be this change.
The best thing about Better Call Saul is that there isn’t just one actor who dominates the series, rather there are host of them and that makes the show so popular. Apart from Bob Odenkirk, there are actors like Jonathan Banks, who plays the role of Mike Ehrmantraut. He has been realised for his good work with an Emmy nomination for Oustanding Supporting Actor in Drama Series.
There’s something interesting that viewers need to realise. Jonathan Banks is the only actor who got nominated for the same award, for the same role in Breaking Bad by the same awarding body and everyone’s hoping that he wins it again.
When Jonathan Banks was asked if he felt that any of his other co-stars should get a nomination in the Emmy’s, he said that Michael McKean deserves a nomination. He also informed that Better Call Saul Season 2 will bring the actor’s talents out to the full and he will make it into the nominations next year.
According to Master Herald, Michael McKean is supposedly set for a great performance in the upcoming season of Better Call Saul. Jonathan Banks reportedly said that there’s more to Michael’s character and all of it going to be revealed in Better Call Saul Season 2.
The popularity of Saul Goodman’s character in Breaking Bad is what made the creators go ahead with a spin-off of the popular television drama series. However, Better Call Saul has moved away from the shadow of Breaking Bad and is making quite a lot of noise on its own.
After ending on a high in Season 1, Better Call Saul Season 2 is already on production. Fans are hoping that some inside news is going to be spilled to them, so that they can learn what’s in store for the other Breaking Bad characters in the series. The creators are keeping mum.
