It is believed that the main aim of the blog Avril Esté Morta was to show that conspiracy theories are so easy to cook. All it requires is some fake eye-witness account and a way to make sure that the story is well circulated around the media. If a death hoax about a famous singer is so easy to create then it is a lot easier to make a fake news about anything else.
The main culprit responsible for spreading this hoax death story of Avril Lavigne was Twitter. With Rayn Broderick bringing this topic up, everyone started sharing and believing in it, without even trying to clarify the authenticity of the news.
This won’t be the first time that the internet has come with bizarre stories about a celebrity. There are numerous websites that have come up with similar and even more bizarre incidents that have gone ahead to become viral and hence almost legitimized as truth.

I thought that avril lavigne is already dead! I believe on the rumors that spreading all over in the internet. In fact, i was watching the new music videos and the old ones, i notice that this present videos are not totally the real avril. The tune of her voice and the way she perform in the stage this past concert proved to me that she is not the real avril! Sorry for commenting but avril lavigne is my idol! Even if i dont have any proof that avril lavigne is already dead but my insticnt believe! Thank you and god bless!
