Asus is currently launching a special edition of the Zenfone 2 which comes with a greatly designed back panel and a massive 256GB of storage. This variant has been named Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition and reports suggest that this device will be launched next month.
The original Zenfone 2 came with an affordable price tag but in spite of that, it features specs that will put most mid-range smartphones to shame. The specifications included a whopping 4GB of RAM along with a 128GB internal storage option.
The other specifications are a 5.5 inch display, 1080p display resolution, a fast and nimble Intel Atom processor and a 13 megapixel camera, which led to the device being a compelling option in the budget smartphone market and then some. However, it seems like Asus wants its Zenfone 2 to appear more advanced and attractive to the media hogs and the company’s answer to this is the Deluxe Special Edition.
The phone features an attractive pattern backplate which comes with Carbon Night and Drift Silver back colors and supports up to 256GB of storage. This is actually double the amount of storage compared to maximum 128GB devices from Samsung, Apple along with the entry-level notebooks.
Right now, the Deluxe Special Edition has been created for Brazil and there hasn’t been any new regarding availability in other markets. The primary Zenfone 2 arrived in the US and was greeted with much appreciation. If the Special Edition follows it, we’ll just have to wait for more favorable response.
In the budget smartphone market, there are many devices which are worth considering, especially now that budget devices started sporting flagship-grade specifications at an affordable price. The C5 Ultra will have to take on various devices like Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, OnePlus One 64GB version. As a result, when Xperia C5 hits stores, which of the devices will the users purchase?
