The front camera has its own perks. With an 88-degree field of view, it includes the ZenUI selfie Panorama mode which can easily capture panoramic selfies composed of a 140-degree field of view. With a 3000mAh battery, it is more than capable to deal with your daily tasks.
On the other hand, the Zenfone 2 (ZE500CL) is the low-end device in this brand new range. It comes with a smaller 5.0inch HD display. Under the hood, the device is packed tight with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor and a smaller 2500mAh battery.
With 2GB of RAM, the phone can run for 360 hours in standby mode. The 4GB model of the Zenfone 2 is priced around TWD 8,990 while the 2GB variant is cheaper at TWD 6,990. At the same time, the other two variants 550ML and 500CL are priced further cheaper at TWD 5,990 and 4,990 respectively.
The Zenfone 2 was unveiled at CES 2015 and is presently available on show in Barcelona for 2015 Mobile World Congress. With a price point of $199 in the US, the UK is yet to be revealed.
