The viewers know that each of these aspects will be answered sooner or later, but what they are interested in knowing is why Oliver was kneeling beside a tombstone with Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) standing with him. There appeared to be tears in Oliver’s eyes and this indicates that someone really close to him has passed away.
Marc Guggenhein was asked about, but he didn’t have much to say. He added that whichever character dies in Arrow Season 4 is going to remain dead. Oliver has previously considered bringing back his close ones with the help of the Lazarus Pit up in the Nanda Parbat.
There are rumors that John Diggle might die in Arrow Season 4 and since he and Oliver is pretty close and hence Oliver ends up shedding a tear on his death. There are also other rumors that suggest that Captain Quentin Lance might also be the one who dies in the season.
However, since it is only Barry and Oliver who are there at the cemetery, it might be that Oliver’s son who he finds out in season 4 had died. Since no one else knows about this secret in Oliver’s life apart from Barry, this scene is most justified.
The new episode directed by Charlotte Brandstrom, which was written by Emilio Ortega Aldrich and Brian Ford Sullivan. The general view is that the new episodes of Arrow Season 4 have learnt from the mistakes of the past and have made changes.
