The immensely popular game Clash of Clans from Supercell is poised to receive another update soon. The latest reports suggest that Supercell might roll out the update as early as next month. This update will most likely bring a brand new troop to the game.
It was previously being believed that this new troop would be the Musketeer from the world of Clash Royale. Clash Royale was just released by Supercell. It is a card-based strategy game that is set in the universe of Clash of Clans.
It is in this game that the Musketeer was first spotted. The Musketeer is a troop which wields a musket as its weapon. This rumor however was recently shot down and it has been confirmed that the new troop in Clash of Clans won’t be the Musketeer.
The last update that was released for the game was in the month of January. Thus it is unlikely that the upcoming update will be rolled out by Supercell before mid-March. Supercell is reportedly working towards upgrading the Town Hall 10. A spokesperson for Supercell recently stated that the Town Hall 10 does not have its own Dark Elixir Troop.
This has sparked rumors that the upcoming update might bring a brand new Dark Elixir troop for Town Hall 10. Another rumor that is floating around the internet suggests that another troop might be added to the game through the update.
This troop will reportedly possess magical powers. Using this troop, players will be able to freeze buildings and structures. Apparently, this new troop would be called Ice Mage. However, it should be noted that this has not been confirmed by Supercell as of yet.
It is being assumed that if indeed the developers add a new Dark Elixir troop for Town Hall 10, it would have an effect on the overall balance of the game. This particular addition is likely to have a great impact on the gameplay of the game.
Just in the recent past it was reported that Supercell might shut down Clash of Clans for a certain period of time to fix a number of bugs and errors in the game. It would also have served the purpose of cleansing the game of cheaters and hackers.
This news caused a great amount of dissatisfaction among fans. However, they need not worry as the company came forward with an announcement which stated that it has no such plans of shutting down the game.
A renowned website reported that apart from the new Dark Elixir troop, the new update might also bring some other new features for the Town Hall 10. It is being speculated that some additional spells might get added to the game for Town Hall 10.
In other news, it was recently reported that Clash of Clans might have a new competitor in the form of Dawn of Gods. Dawn of Gods is a mobile based real-time strategy game that was just released by Aeria Games.
In the game, players are tasked with building strong armies which would be placed under the control of Gods. These Gods are somewhat similar to the Heroes of Clash of Clans. However, unlike Clash of Clans which only has three heroes, Dawn of Gods will reportedly feature 150 different Gods.
These different Gods will have a variety of different powers and abilities. An interesting feature about these Gods is that the game will allow players to combine two Gods. This combined God will evolve into something even more powerful.
The game will feature multiple modes which include Arena mode and Alliance mode. However, just like COC, players in Dawn of Gods will have to largely depend on online raiding to progress in it.
