After updating the device, some minor issues might arise with the Samsung Gear or the Gear Fit manager application. In case a problem arises with the app, users need not fret, as the problem will be solved once the app is uninstalled and then installed again once the upgradation process is complete.
Sony is also rolling out the update on a number of its devices. The devices that are currently receiving the update are- Sony Xperia Z2 HSPA+, SonyXperia Z2 Tablet and Sony Xperia Z3 Dual. These smartphones are currently being upgraded to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The update comes with a size of 930.1 MB.
Some of the devices of the Xperia Z lineup had been put in a beta testing program by Sony in the past. These devices are- the Xperia Z2 (D6503), the Xperia Z3(D6603) and the Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803). The Marshmallow update for these three devices have already been rolled out by Sony.
At the current moment some other variants of these devices are receiving the update and these include- Xperia Z3 Compact (D5883), Xperia Z3 (D6646), Xperia Z3 Dual (D6633), Xperia Z3 (D6653), Xperia Z2 Tablet (SGP511), Xperia Z2 Tablet (SGP512) and Xperia Z2 Tablet (SGP521).
Some other Sony smartphones that are set to receive the update in the near future include- Xperia M5, Xperia C4, Xperia M4 and Xperia C5 Ultra.
