Amber Portwood “Teen Mom” no more

In a series of tweets, Teen Mom star Amber Portwood revealed that she will be leaving the reality show aired on MTV. The outburst on social media was after what she deemed an unfair edit over the taping of the show’s season 6 Finale which they shoot last October. The said episode aired in two parts this month.

One of her tweets stated, “Sad to say but I’m not going to be apart of #Teenmomog. The way I have been portrayed and treated is unfair. @MTV sending all my love.”

The 26-year old reality star who rose to fame via MTV’s 16 & Pregnant wrote to her over 440 thousand followers that she was treated unfairly by the network where she has worked with for eight years.

Portwood, in another tweet wrote, “If I was treated fairly it wouldn’t be an issue but it’s been nothing but disrespect since the reunion show. Which keeps continuing today. “Nothing has been dealt with or has made me feel any safer to even move on with people who have continuously hidden things from the network.”

While filming the finale episode, Portwood had a physical altercation with co-star Farrah Abraham. According to insider reports, the altercation started with Portwood getting angry about the fun remarks made by Abraham and her boyfriend Simon Saran  against Matt Brier, Portwood’s fiance.

Insider sources said that it looked like that an apology was headed into when the show’s host, Dr. Drew told that Simon called Matt a pedophile. Abraham butted in with a comment, “Well, he does look like a pedophile.” Things got uncontrolled after this.

In defense of her fiance, Portwood raged on the stage and yelled at Abraham. Then, Farrah’s dad came in between Farrah and Amber and yelled at the later. Matt finally came on stage in between Amber and Michael.

In one of her IG posts, Portwood strongly claimed that Michael’s yelling at her was omitted.

Portwood concluded on Twitter verse that “The day I’m shown some respect by the people I’ve worked with for 8 years is the day I’ll be back. I’ve sacrificed a lot for this show. @MTV.”
