She stated that it took her quite some time to make the decision and she had to think quite hard before making it. She added that she finally decided against cancelling the show. It was revealed by her that a part of the proceeds will be donated to the Equality North Carolina, who have raised their voice against such a discriminating law.
She added- “I am very fortunate to have grown up in a home where I learned from an early age that everyone should be treated equally.” The venue where she will be performing will have gender neutral bathrooms and thus everyone who wishes to come to the show will be able to do so without having to think about the bathrooms.
Rumors are doing rounds that that Selena Gomez might be the new face of Balmain. Apparently, Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain recently posted a picture of Selena Gomez from the June 2016 cover photo shoot of Marie Claire.
Selena could be seen wearing a beaded Balmain dress and it was captioned with the words- “Selena x Balmain”. This sparked off rumors that she might soon be seen becoming the face of Balmain. However, there has been no confirmation regarding the matter from either Selena or Olivier.
