The Emmy’s are right around the corner, and it is time for the Emmy nominations to be announced. The nominations for the 68th annual Emmy Awards is going to be announced on Thursday and the award ceremony will be on the 18th of September and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
According to Toronto Sun, Veep is going to lead the nomination series, with Game of Thrones right behind. The other series that are going to be up for nominations are Mr. Robot, Better Call Saul, Orange is the New Black, Downton Abbey and The Good Wife. While Game of Thrones might win multiple awards, House of Cards will also be one of the top series.
In other news related to Game of Thrones, Pokémon Go has caught the attention of gamers in recent times, and as reported by CNET, Niantic Labs might be looking at something about a similar game for the fans of Game of Thrones.
Archit Bhargava, the global marketing lead for Pokémon Go and Ingress had informed that he would personally want a fantasy game that allowed the players to choose the faction of houses in Westeros and fight it out.
Since Bhargava made the comment during the launch of Pokémon Go and might not have any seriousness to it, there is no stopping the fans from believing that a game based on Game of Thrones is possible.
