Samsung Galaxy S7: Promises 5 Day Battery Life, Exotic Exterior, Expected To Be The Most Expensive Phone, And More

cameras, memory and the exterior look. However, no manufacturer could deliver more than two days of battery life with normal usage of the phone.

If Galaxy S7 delivers on the five day battery life then they will be the first mobile manufacturer to promise and deliver on it. Samsung has been doing extensive research on how to extend the battery life of their devices and if reports are to be believed then they have spent $13.8 billion on this research in the past year itself.

Samsung claims that their researchers and scientists at the Samsung’s Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) have found how standard lithium-ion batteries can have a prolonged life by combining it with graphene and silicon.

It seems to be like this discovery has been incorporated into the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S7. Unlike other companies that focus on extending the battery capacity of the device to enable it to run numerous applications together, which thereby reduce the battery life; Samsung will use a battery that is going to have an energy density 1.8 times more than that of the normal battery and easily give the device a lot more life.

Apart from longer battery life, according to the leaked information Samsung Galaxy S7 is also said to have a 5.5 inch super AMOLED display with a 4k resolution. Samsung, however, won’t be the first company with the 4k resolution in their smartphones, since Sony has already beat them to it with their Xperia Z5 Premium.

The design will also incorporate interesting colour schemes like Silver Titan, Gold Platinum, Black Sapphire and White Pearl. The phone is expected to be a foldable smart phone but no confirmation or denial about the same has been made by the officials of Samsung. Samsung has made a marked move away from the plastic clad exterior from Samsung Galaxy S6 and they have improved on this with the Samsung Galaxy S7.

To match up with the exterior the inside of the device is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with the android 6.0 Marshmallow. Samsung Galaxy S7 will also have a 4 GB RAM. It is going to be available in three variants of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage capacity.According to Value Walk Samsung is considering the Hydra processor for Samsung Galaxy S7.

Experts believe that with HTC launching their latest smart phone with 10 core processors, Samsung needs to pay head to this before zeroing on its processor for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7.

Samsung smartphones are known for their camera and with the Samsung Galaxy S7 they are just improving on it. The smart phone is going to have a 30 MP back camera and a 10 MP front camera. In order to enable the users from getting clearer images there is going to be an added feature called the Gigapixel.
