Pokémon Z Unlikely to Release This Year, Might Release on the Nintendo NX, And More

Pokémon Z has been the talk of the town for quite some time now and fans have been speculating as to when the game will be rolled out. However, various reports suggest that the game might not see a release date in the ongoing year.

The reason behind this could be accounted to the fact that it has already been confirmed that another Pokémon game- Pokémon Sun and Moon will release later this year. This might result in the delay of Pokémon Z which might not see the light of the day before the next year.

It is unlikely that Nintendo will release two Pokémon titles within a short period of time. Both the titles will be playable on the Nintendo 3DS and thus releasing them within the same year might have an effect on the sales of both the games.

Fans will be divided between the two games which will ultimately have an adverse effect on the sales of both. Another Pokémon game that is set to make its debut in the current year is the Pokémon GO. This game will be of a different genre as it will be the first game of the Pokémon series that will be based on Augmented Reality.

Thus, it can be seen that Nintendo has its hands full at the moment and it will be difficult for the company to release yet another Pokémon game in 2016. As for Pokémon Sun and Moon, the game will reportedly feature a total of nine different languages.

The game will be rolled out during the holiday season of the current year and fans will have the option to play the game in the following languages- English, Japanese, Korean, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and also Traditional Chinese.

Coming back to Pokémon Z, some previous reports suggested that the game might hit the market during Fall 2016. However, the latest reports state that there is little possibility that the game will see a release date within 2016.

Some reports are coming in which are suggesting that Nintendo might release the game for their next gaming console- Nintendo NX. It was previously stated by Nintendo that Nintendo NX won’t be hitting the market before March 2017.

Now, if indeed Pokémon Z is released for Nintendo NX, it is unlikely that fans will be able to get their hands on it before the March of next year. However, if Nintendo delays the release of the Nintendo NX due to some reason, chances are that the release of Pokémon Z will also get delayed.

It does seem logical as the launching of a new console would normally require a game that would run on it and Pokémon Z seems to be the perfect choice for it. However, nothing can be known for sure until and unless the developers come forward with some solid updates regarding the game or the console.

As for the main character of the game, it has come to light that it will be a Legendary Pokémon called Zygrade. Various forms of this Pokémon will reportedly be present in the game. However, these different forms will not be similar to Hoopa, Giratina and Kyurem.

The Pokémon will evolve and ultimately reach its final stage of evolution after a certain period of time. During the first stage, the Pokémon will have the shape of a blob. The blob will be green in color. At this stage, it will be called the Zygrade Core.

In the second stage it will acquire a flat shape. During this stage the blob will evolve into a cell and at this stage it will be called Zygarade Cell. The next stage of evolution will see the Pokémon take the shape of a dog. It will be at 10 percent power at this stage.
