The Expendables 4 will launch in theaters on 2017 and from the looks of it, the movie will begin production anytime soon. The film’s screenplay is being written by Dave Callahan under the helm of director Avi Lerner.
According to Movie News Guide, Sylvester Stallone said in his report that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Hulk Hogan have officially been signed to The Expendables 4 cast.
An official announcement is yet to be made by Sly or the studio or whoever else is at the helm of this film. Movie News Guide reports that Pierce Brosnan was delighted to be a part of this film and at the same time, he expressed his excitement in working with pro wrestlers like Dwayne Johnson and Hulk Hogan.
At the same time, he admitted that he doesn’t wish to play conventional roles like friends or protagonists to the hero/heroes. At the same time, he is quite interested in playing a wrestler in the movie. According to the report, Brosnan and Johnson will be playing alternate to action stars Salman Khan and Jackie Chan.
They were earlier rumored to be a part of this upcoming movie. Hulk Hogan will play as the primary antagonist in this film and most fans are quite excited about it! The report further added that Hogan will become the nastiest villain in Hollywood. Right now, the production team is looking at Hogan’s stunt doubles who will perform the running scenes along with other action sequences.
According to our earlier report, Hogan was not able to refuse when Sylvester popped the offer. He signed up for The Expendables 4 in order to repay Stallone who gave him his first break.
Besides Hulk Hogan and The Rock, Steve Austin is another wrestler who should be joining the cast. Meanwhile, the roles of Barney Ross, Trench Mauser and Lee Christmas will be played by Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jason Statham.

It is followed by The Expendables 2, which had a budget of $92 million.

He will be portrayed as the most evil villain, compared to all other enemies and villains in the history of Hollywood. He declared that he was having some difficulty in performing some of the stunts in the film.
He further revealed that a good stuntman will be able to help him with the scenes that he needs to perform. It was also revealed that a new character will be joining the cast. The upcoming film will come with a new character, to be played by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
