Over the last few years, it was reported that Apple is trying to decrease its dependence on Samsung, for the processor chips which power its devices. Reports further suggest that Apple is trying to abolish any link with Samsung completely.
If that’s not the case, Apple probably found that the 10nm chipset manufacturing process from TSMC was more efficient for their iPhones. The tenth anniversary of iPhone launch will be celebrated by Apple next year.
Apple is expected to release an iPhone featuring an edgeless OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display. Rumors suggest that the fingerprint sensor/home button on the upcoming iPhones will be integrated into the display, instead of being a physical button.
In the meantime, Brikk has announced that the company is accepting pre-orders for the customized and diamond-studded versions of the smartphones, with prices between $4295 and 1.3 million dollars! The Lux iPhone 7 will come in three different variants.
The Standard variant will have ten different color options with several diamond logo choices. Prices will start from $4295 with glossy and scratch-resistant matte finishes. The Deluxe variant will have 24 carats yellow gold, 950 platinum, and 18 carat pink options. The Bespoke variants will have 60 carats of diamonds with a price of 1.3 million dollars.
