Motorola Moto G3, X and HTC One E9+ to Receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow This Year, Google Nexus 5 Already Gets the OTA Update!

The devices are the Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia M5, Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia C4 and the Xperia C5 Ultra.

The Samsung listed devices are the Galaxy S6 Edge+, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Duos, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 4 Duos, Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Tab.

With Google releasing Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it is not really a major leap when you think of the software upgrade but instead, it comes with a few minor improvements which are pretty welcome among Android users today. Home screens, app permissions, Google Now, Chrome Custom Tabs, and Doze are some of the newly developed features in Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

In the meantime, ROM developer has pulled apart the Android Open Source Project code for 6.0 Marshmallow and it was modified to run on the Google Nexus 4.
