Mortal Kombat X: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Will Not Be a Part of Kombat Pack 2 DLC, New Skins Available for Takeda and D’vorah, And More Details

At the moment, fans are still speculating about the new characters which might be included in the upcoming Kombat Pack 2 DLC for Mortal Kombat X. The new Kombat Pack will release soon and you can be sure that the four characters you won’t be seeing in the new DLC are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

There will also be a second set of DLC characters coming to Mortal Kombat X. The Mortal Kombat X creator was asked by one of the fans whether it will be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Ed Boon, the creator of this series is normally quite vague while replying to any fan questions but in this case, he replied with a straight ‘No’.

The question asked by the fan wasn’t too out of the ordinary. Fans discovered that a Kombat Pack 2 would be releasing in September and ever since then, people have been guessing about the characters that would make its way into the upcoming DLC.

There have been loads of speculations involving the upcoming DLC characters and they include “Indiana Jones,” Neo from “The Matrix” and The Joker from “Batman” have all been suggested as playable fighters for Mortal Kombat X.

With the Kombat Pack 2, players will get new players skins, at least four new playable characters along with a new fighting arena.

However, it is also possible that the upcoming Kombat Pack 2 might come with more than just four characters. Meanwhile, a lot of fans have suggested that guest characters should not be included in the DLC.

The fans have preferred that the upcoming DLC should include story mode characters and characters from previous Mortal Kombat Games. Rain, Sindel, Baraka, and Smoke are included in these speculations. The next set of DLC characters have been rumored to arrive in 2016.

The Black Friday 2015 deals for the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat X and the first Kombat Pack of this popular title are being offered with up to a 45% discount. However, it is limited up to 23rd November, Monday.

There are various other titles like Battlefield 4, NBA 2K16, Madden NFL 16 along with various others, which are available on sale up to 75% of regular prices.

The deals will run from 20th to 23rd November and Xbox Live Gold members can buy a large variety of games for 40% to 60% discount. Furthermore, they will get an additional 10% more for being Gold, as reported by Major Nelson.

Furthermore, Silver members have the ability to convert the Gold subscription by paying $1, and this will include a full month period.

The full list of games includes Kombat Pack 1, Mortal Kombat X, its premium edition and they will be sold at major discounts for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. Some of the games included for Xbox One are as follows:-

  • Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition – 45% / 35%
  • Battlefield 4 Premium Edition – 50% / 40%

Meanwhile, NetherRealm Studios reported earlier that they are working on a second DLC pack for Mortal Kombat X, named Kombat Pack 2. According to Yibada, a specific release date for this expansion pack is yet to be revealed.

However, most speculations indicate that the Kombat Pack 2 DLC will release on March 2016. Jason Voorhees of ‘Friday the Thirteenth’ franchise was released as a playable character in the Kombat Pack 1 DLC, when it launched back on 13th March.
