Latest Sony Xperia P2 Images Leaked With Rumors Pointing Towards a Compact Device with Great Camera, And More Information

The leaked images and rumored specs point towards a 5.2″ Triluminos IPS screen with 1080p resolution, which is similar to the display features of the Sony Xperia Z4.  The screen glass will also be beveled at the edges at a thickness of 0.8mm. In theory, the Sony Xperia P2 sounds a bit thick but the rear portion of this device is curved, ranging from 8.9mm to 10.9mm.

One of the best features of this device is the 4240mAh battery which is quite more than most of the phablets and devices like the Moto Maxx/Turbo. Sony’s camera hasn’t seen a major upgrade since the release of Xperia Z1. The latest rumors claim that the new camera lens will have an Exmor RS sensor of the same size (1/2.3″) but at a lower resolution camera of 12 megapixels.

Furthermore, the device will feature a Sony G OSS lens, which ultimately leads to a great deal of optical image stabilization. The device will further feature a wide-angle lens of 25mm with f/2.0 aperture with the presence of dual-LED flash. The camera will also record videos at 2160p resolution. While taking still images, the ISO range will vary from 64 to 25,600 along with 12-bit RAW. The front camera will be a 5.1MP shooter with 1080p video recording capability.
