Christiantimes reports that several fake iOS jailbreaking tools are currently being circulated around the internet by some unscrupulous hackers. Some previous reports claimed that TaiG has managed to jailbreak the iOS 9.3 and has already released the tool which is completely functional.
However, readers should take note that no such jailbreaking tool has been developed by TaiG and the team is yet to successfully crack iOS 9.3. The tool which is being dubbed as iOS 9.3 jail-breaker is actually some malware which might cause serious damage to any Apple device on which it is installed. The unscrupulous hackers might also try to steal personal information using this so-called jailbreaking tool.
Thus users are advised that they should not fall into this trap and abstain from downloading any software that is being marketed as an iOS 9.3 jailbreaking tool. The software is being advertised on a fake TaiG website which has the address of taig9.com.
The site is an imitation website of the original TaiG website which has the address of taig.com. The site claims that the tool that is being advertised by them is an upgraded version of the functional jailbreak that was released by Pangu for iOS 9.0 and it is now compatible with iOS 9.3.
Stay tuned for more update on iOS Jailbreak.
