According to the latest rumors involving GoPro, the company has been reported to have pushed back the release date of their GoPro Hero 5 by a few months, owing to further improvements on the device. Reports indicate that it would make Hero 5 the most powerful videographic camera when it finally hits the market. Meanwhile, Christian Today reports that the device will release by October this year but it can face further delays due to which the release date can be pushed back to the end of the year or the beginning of 2016.
It is being rumored that GoPro is currently working on major improvements on some of the core specifications of the GoPro Hero 5, which features the possible inclusion of an A10 chipset. It would allow the device to record 8K videos with 3840×2160 pixel resolution at a 60 per second frame rate. With the new reported specification, the device will become a major upgrade over the GoPro Hero 4. It will surely place GoPro on a new pedestal as the 4k Video recording standard is quite common a market standard at the present. Further reports indicate that the GoPro Hero 5 will include dual lens which allows it to capture 3D videos. If this turns out to be true, it will be a first among GoPro devices.
Meanwhile, the highly successful line-up of action video and image cameras by GoPro has resulted in people heavily speculating about their upcoming model. The GoPro series has long been connected to action cameras and people who wish to purchase one has always come up on GoPro and has preferred it greatly over the competition from other rivals.
How is it that the GoPro series manages to take such superior hold of the action-camera line-up? The present generation GoPro Hero 4 released during the latter half of last year and is presently one of the most top-end devices in the market right now. It has a more than decent battery, various connectivity options, a great price tag and a 30fps frame rate. It is no surprise that the GoPro Hero 4 is one of the most popular action cameras that people prefer to purchase.
