With Expendables 4, Sylvester Stallone wants to make up for the mistakes that the earlier film had done, which made it suffer so badly. The first Expendables movie was created by David Callaham, who created it as homage to the action film from the past.
Each of the films from the Expendables franchise earned a total of $790 million and they have gained favorable response from the audience even if the critics haven’t been very forthcoming.
The Expendables film deals with mercenaries who are led by Barney Ross, played by Sylvester Stallone. While many notable names have joined the ranks of actors in the film, there are a few who have been a part of the franchise since the very first film. Some of these names include Jason Statham, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Randy Couture.
According to Master Herald, Expendables 3 was hit hard by piracy, which caused the film’s copies to be released before the official release date and it is because of this that producer Sylvester Stallone has been very careful with the information that he is sharing regarding Expendables 4.
There is another exciting rumor from the Expendables 4. It is reported by Christian Post that Manny Pacquiao has been asked to be a part of the upcoming film. Stallone and Schwarzenegger had personally met up with the world famous boxer and had expressed their desire to have him for the upcoming film.
Pacquiao is believed to have been very keen on the idea, but his busy schedule is not allowing him to accept the offer.
