E3 or Electronic Entertainment Expo was held last year in June and the game developer Bethesda Studios revealed the role-playing game Fallout 4 which eventually made its way to gaming consoles and PCs in November that year.
There was hardly any announcement made on another widely anticipated title and a very popular role-playing game, named Elder Scrolls 6. Back then, it was reported that Bethesda Studios will make an announcement about The Elder Scrolls 6 in E3 2016 and moreover, the event will be all to itself.
Keep in mind that E3 2016 is just 4 months away and from the looks of it, Bethesda will not announce anything regarding the game because reports indicate that game developer will start focusing on the development of this title during the latter part of this year.
Apparently, reports indicate that Bethesda is currently concerned and focused on the development of DLCs for Fallout 4. After all the DLCs for Fallout 4 has been completed, only then Bethesda will be able to focus on the development of Elder Scrolls 6, as reported by Neuro Gadget.
The developer should be able to finish its work on the DLCs for Fallout 4 by the second half of 2016 and after that, the development on Elder Scrolls 6 should begin.
According to the latest reports, Elder Scrolls 6 should release in 2017 instead of this year. After the completion of Fallout 4 along with its DLCs, Bethesda needs to come out with a new game and Gaming Bolt revealed that this is none other than Elder Scrolls 6. Back in E3 2015 in June, Bethesda made the announcement regarding Fallout 4 and after that, the game was released in November.
From the looks of it, the development company could be planning a similar strategy with Elder Scrolls 6. Bethesda is taking advantage of the small release window between the game’s unveiling and the release date because the short period of time allows gamers to get excited about the upcoming game without having to spend a lot of time on it.
At the same time, fans won’t have to wait so long that they lose their interest and focus on something else completely. A lot of fans probably won’t believe this but with Fallout 4 release in November last year, it faced a lot of disappointment from many critics and gamers worldwide.
The game suffered from a very shallow dialogue system and at the same time, the crafting mechanics was rather dismal in nature and the user interface was terrible as well. According to most critics, Bethesda should learn from these mistakes and rectify them in the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6.
When Elder Scrolls 5 was released in 2011, it was a tremendous success. Already, there have been loads of speculations regarding the setting, storyline and everything else of Elder Scrolls 6.
Fans were quite impatient about Elder Scrolls 6 so Bethesda decided to release The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited in June of last year.
Needless to say, this was an epic disaster and the game was riddled with bugs, glitches along with an uninteresting quest line. Bethesda needs to make some major changes and improvements in its game development ways in order to win the hearts of fans worldwide.
A lot of people are enjoying Elder Scrolls Online and at the same time, a lot of them are anticipating the release of Elder Scrolls 6 but reports from Pete Hines indicates that this won’t be happening anytime soon.
Right now, it is being asked whether TES6 will join the multiplayer bandwagon. During an earlier interview with Telegraph, Pete Hines confirmed that Elder Scrolls 6 is actually in the works. In reality, he actually said Skyrim 2.
