Were you one of the many persons frustrated by the lack of units available at launch for the latest Nintendo console?
Sure, you could go on Craigslist but who really wants to pay double, triple or quadruple the price for a 30 years old console?
On Tuesday, December 6th, you just might be one of the lucky ones to finally get your hands on this nostalgic piece of hardware and for the right price.
Urban Outfitters announced today that it would sell a “limited-stock” amount of consoles for $60 in an online-only flash sale.
“Urban Outfitters is pleased to announce that we will be carrying a limited inventory of Nintendo’s NES Classic Edition console,” said Urban Outfitters in a statement. “The highly sought-after game system will be available online at UrbanOutfitters.com on December 6th. The product will not be available in store.”
The store might just save your Christmas holidays. I suggest you keep refreshing their “Music+Tech” page starting at 12:01 AM to be sure not to miss this opportunity of a lifetime. I also recommend creating your customer account beforehand to save even more time during checkout. I am pretty sure this will sell out in a few minutes so you need to be ready.
The Nintendo NES Classic Edition launched almost a month ago on November 11th but the company has come under fire since then because of how few people got to get their hands on it. Nintendo promised that stock would replenish fast but time is running out to meet the profitable holiday season where every company wants to get their latest release under each Christmas trees.
So keep your fingers crossed for tomorrow. You might just enjoy Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda or Final Fantasy sooner than you thought after all.
