Yamauchi states that the quality of the audio in Gran Turismo 6 will be improved, but the majority of improvements will take place in Gran Turismo 7. The developer also indicated the addition of premium cars to the already existent standard cars in this franchise. As reported earlier, he said that each car has a unique fanbase; hence, they will hang on to the archive. Currently, Polyphony Digital is totally focused on increasing the number of premium cars.
In spite of improvements in the graphics, Gran Turismo 7 will be running on the same physics engine that was used in GT6. It has been promised that the in-game engine will be much improved. The primary selling point of this game includes its vast range of vehicular choices that will retain the standard cars. Additionally, a few commercial new vehicles will be added while primarily including the GT Vision cars. However, till now, there is no complete list of the in-game vehicles.
Gran Turismo 7 is all set to compete with DriveClub as PS4’s primary franchise racing game.
