Android Marshmallow OTA Updates Released for the Samsung Galaxy S5, How Does the S5 Stack Up Against the S6 and S7?

They make use of Adreno 530 and Mali-T880 MP12 graphics respectively. Both of these devices run on 4GB of RAM. The S5 includes two internal storage variants of 16GB and 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card. The S6 includes three internal storage variants of 32, 64 and 128GB but doesn’t have a slot for microSD expansion.

The S7 has 32GB and 64GB variants but it can be further expanded to 200GB using a microSD card. S5 has a 16MP primary camera with LED flash, geo-tagging, HDR, face-detection, panorama and phase-detection autofocus. It has a 2MP secondary camera up front.

The S6 also has a 16MP camera with features like autofocus, OIS, auto HDR, face detection, panorama and LED flash. On the front, it has a 5MP secondary camera. S7 makes use of a 12MP rear shooter with all the above features. Like the S6, it has a 5MP front camera. The Samsung Galaxy S6, S5 and S7 have 2550, 2800 and 3000mAh batteries respectively. The batteries in S6 and S7 are non-removable.

If you don’t prefer a S6 or S7 variant, you can always take a look at the Galaxy S5 Neo. It has a 5.1inch AMOLED Full-HD display, a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with octa-core 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 chips. The performance is quite similar to the original Galaxy S5.
